Your Android box is pre configured with a license at your request. All android boxes have a pre configured license. Depending on the type of license the box capabilities will vary.

The license name reflects the revision number and capabilities of the software installed on the box. That is:

  • 0droid - Unlicensed.
    • Won't load ANY design
  • 1droid - Licensed to load and run designs of the 1droid revision (COMMON):
    • Clock (Analog Clock)
    • has the visual properties of an analog clock.  It also acts as an analog clock, having two hands that move, so that they represent the correct real time at the location (both in windows and Android).  
    •  
    • Clock (Digital Clock)
    • provides for the design of a digital clock component. It looks just like a digital clock showing the current time using numbers.
    •  
    • Date
    • provides for the design and display of current date as text.
    •  
    • Image
    • using this component one can add an image to a design.  The image will be zoomed (in/out)to fit the the size of the component. urrently the image formats supported are: PNG. JPG/JPEG,GIF and BMP.

    • Marquee(Moving text)
    • is a text moving from the right side to the left side of the screen with a selectable speed, color and size
    •  
    • Slides (Slide Show) t
    • his component defines and plays a slide show. The slides are supported images. Images will be zoomed into the predefined size of the component.
    •  
    • Text (Static Text)
    • provides for the design and display of text. As opposed to the moving text this component can show any number of lines and it will align them as required.
    •  
    • Table
    • provides for the design of tables. Can select rows, columns and background
    •  
    • RunInfo
    • this component provides the design of a moving set of picctures. The set can be horisontal or vertical and diferent transitions can be applied.
    •  
    • Background music list
    • Use the Add/Remove/RemoveAll buttons to manipulate the table of Background Audio Files.  If there are any files in this table, the display will use them as background audio sound.
    • It can accept one, or any number of files, and the display will play them in order and in an infinite loop.
    • The Background sound slider controls the sound volume at which those files are played at.

    • Background internet radio
    • Checking the  check-box one can configure an alternative radio-station as the background audio:

     

  • 2droid - Licensed to load and run designs of the 2droid and any lower revision (VIEWS)

    • Buletin Board

    • Use the Add/Remove/RemoveAll buttons to manipulate the table of Background Audio Files.  If there are any files in this table, the display will use them as

    • Checking the  check-box one can configure an alternative radio-station as the background audio:

  • 3droid - Licensed to load and run designs of the 3droid and any lower revision (MEDIA)

    • Video Client - Needs external server (provided).

    • Video IP Camera - Needs external IP Camera

    • Video Local

    • Video Relay  - Needs external server (provided).

    • Video Stream - Needs URL to play from or special server.

  • 4droid - Licensed to load and run designs of the 4droid and any lower revision (WEATHER)

    • Weather Tile

    • this component will create weather tiles. The first tile is a big font showing temperature and image for today, and the rest, starting with today present more specific information about the weather in the days to come.

    • Weather Box

    • provides for the design and display of a box showing weather. There are 4 template designs to select from and they all have predefined sizes. They present the same weather only display it differently.

    • Weather Msn

    • provides for the design and display of a box showing weather. There are 4 template designs to select from and they all have predefined sizes. They present the same weather only display it differently.

  • 6droid - Licensed to load and run designs of the 6droid and any lower revision:
    • Support for interactive design components ( Touch Screens ). Implemented in software with PlayOn Designer but no hardware support added yet.
